New York Pizza in Homewood

meatball sub was ok. the saving grace is the craft beer selection.

I believe the pizza we ordered was just not the right one for us. I will go back and try them again.

First let's start with food:Overpriced and the worst pizza I have ever consumed. This place was always crowded and only god knows how people gave this place a 5 star review----The pizza's sauce was so bad probably having a Ph of 2.3 it was so acidic and there were H.U.G.E ONION chunks in the pizza coupled with a wet and floppy crust that looked like something that came out of the hobbits cave. In conclusion the only Thing that can half compliment this place is that it has an arcade for my kids

Homewood has some very good pizza offerings. New York is my favorite by a skin margin. World Trade Center supreme is out of this world.

It had been about 20 years since I had been there. It was awesome...still! I grew up in Edgewood. I never would have imagined that it would be a "happening place"!👍

I had the chicken lasagna and it was delicious. It was a nice alternative to pizza and had an alfredo sauce versus a red sauce which was a nice change. The place is casual and very family- friendly.

Great food. Friendly staff. I have eaten here many times and never had a bad experience. I absolutely love this place.

This place is a staple in Homewood. Great pizza better atmosphere for kids and adults.

The food was good, but not stellar. The atmosphere was friendly, but seemed to be dated. Our waitress was very pleasant, but they seriously understaffed for a holiday. They do serve craft beers. Two people, split a calzone and Greek salad, no alcohol, $25.

The pizza was good, it wasn't quite like NY pizza. The cheese wasn't on point and the sauce didn't taste right. I'm from NY. The slices are thin crust pizza's with cheese that stretch when you eat it and the slices are large so you have to use your pointer finger to crease the pizza in the middle tilt your head back and eat that pizza. O how good it is😂🤣😍😘. That pizza was just ok👌. Over all it's a nice place to take the family. 😘 oh and prices are ok too.

New York Pizza Is One of the Best Restaurants In Town! They have such a wide variety of Scrumptiously Savory, Top-Quality Made Italian Dishes that I Have Ever Had! And, I was also Pleasantly Surprised at Just How Affordable All of their Prices Are! I Would Definitely Recommend New York Pizza (Located in Homewood, AL.), to Anybody, and Everybody! 4 out of 5 Stars! 😊

Great Pizza! Great Service!

Came in to to town for work and decided for some pizza. The restaurant is very clean and the service was outstanding. Would like to thank Lauren and Destiny for the great service and conversation. Five star all the way.

DO NOT EAT HERE.! My order was made wrong and the owner was not really trying to help stating that “policy” said I had to call back that night but I was not informed of that policy. He only offered me $5 my next order when I paid $20 for a pizza I could not eat due to the fact his employees messed up. Ridiculous and I will never eat there again.

This restaurant deserves five stars for their Seafoods. Really amazing dishes. Some include Grilled Oysters, Yeast Rolls, Blackened Mahi Mahi, Pork Belly, Brown Sugar Cake, etc. There are Table Reservation, Credit Card Payment, no Food delivery, etc.

THE BEST ALFREDO EVER!!!! Enough said. I hear the pizza is great but every time I step foot in here I HAVE to get the chicken alfredo. OMG! Just as good on day 2. And they give enough for some on day 2.

This place has some of the best pizza I have ever ate if not the best! I don’t see how it’s not 5 stars. Highly recommend the Harlem. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will miss this place when I have to move back to West Virginia.

Lots of variety here. Located in a very trendy area of Homewood. Called in a lunch order. It was ready when they said it would be. Piping hot. Thin crust was a tad soggy from the thin pizza sauce. Lots of really good me at. Fresh Italian sausage. Tasted great but I prefer really cracker crispy crust. I'd eat there again but I'd eat in.

I have been eating at New York Pizza since at least 1992 and it still remains my favorite pizza place in the Birmingham area. For years I ate the Harlem, and it still remains my favorite, but in the past few years they have added some great new combinations. The Buffalo, NY that comes with grilled chicken in buffalo sauce, peppers & cheddar cheese runs a close second for me. I also enjoy the Fire Island Pizza with Mexican style chorizo sausage or the Central Park with an olive oil sauce that give this pizza a completely different taste. I can't say how many people I've got hooked on New York Pizza, but you will not be let down when you give them a try.

The pizza I had was complex and very well put together. It had lots of flavor but after that I tried a piece of plain cheese pizza that the girls had and it was just very plain tasting. My wife had some Alfredo and it was pretty good but nothing special.

Honesty completely disgusting pizza. Being that I am from NY this was a slap in the face. Very sad these people do not know what good pizza is. I would rather get pizza hut than this.

Pizza was awesome! World trade center was stacked with all the delicious toppings, that make a great pizza. Some ordered a half and half pizza, that were 6 in my party and none of us had any complaints. It was obvious, since there were only empty pans and plates left on the table.

Great lasagna, great calzone, kids liked the pizza too. Everything was cooked fresh so it did take a little while to get our food, but that gave us time to talk as a family.

Fast service, hot food and greeter was nice.
